To Prepare Easy Smoky Fajitas with Cholula Fajita Marinade & Cooking Sauce - Prep Time: 15 minutes; Cook Time: 15 minutes
You will need: 2 tbsp vegetable or canola oil, 1 1/2 pounds meat, cut into thin strips, such as chicken, steak, or pork, 1 cup onions, sliced, 1 cup peppers, sliced, 3/4 cup Cholula® Fajita Marinade and Cooking Sauce, 1/4 cup water, corn, or flour tortillas.
OPTIONAL TOPPINGS:
Cilantro, freshly chopped
Avocado, sliced
Pico de Gallo
Mexican Crema or Sour Cream
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add protein; cook and stir just until browned. Remove the protein from the skillet and place it on a plate. 2. Add the sliced onions and peppers. Cook until softened (about 5 minutes). 3. Stir in Fajita Sauce and water. Add chicken back into the skillet. Simmer 5 minutes or until sauce has slightly thickened and the protein is cooked through. Make sure to stir occasionally. 4. Spoon into your choice of corn or flour tortillas and serve with your desired toppings. Servings: 6 Servings.
